... you just find the right thing at the right time...
I've been wanting to do 'something' for a while now. Something with some structure and some sharing, but didn't want to enroll on an e-course or join yet another Facebook group(!)
Then, as the Full Willow Moon rose and shone brightly into the living room window this evening, I discovered this. It's been over15 years since I first read The Artist's Way, but last year I bought a brand new copy as my original was covered in scribbles and was falling apart.
Clearly, it was waiting for such a time as this :)
So, I've created this new blog to chart my journey through this wonderful book. Kristen's already on Week 2, so I'll get myself up to speed and see what unfolds...
I love this space Claire! so beautiful and inspiring that you created a space for you Creative Life journey. Looking forward to following you as we move along in the next 3 months! Hugs, Kristen
ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving such a lovely comment, Kristen! I'm looking forward to this journey together :)
DeleteHi Claire - another new blog, and each time it gets more beautiful and more serene…. Such beautiful imagery, here: A new copy of the Artist's Way, a new blog, a new beginning: like a Phoenix rising.
ReplyDeleteJust so happy to hear from you again! I've left some comments over on your blog...
DeleteWelcome, welcome!
It's exactly ten years ago that I worked with the Artist's Way. Since then I collected (many) more of Julia Cameron's books.
ReplyDeleteI feel tempted to join too, yet unsure as well if I can manage to find a day a week for it. I have so many projects going.. In the meantime I've subscribed to your beautiful new blog.
Hi Claire, I have this book by my bedside, I'm almost at the end. But it's taken too long, I have started more than a year ago, I read and I stop, I read other books meanwhile, I don't know but I found difficult to read it. Maybe I should start over and see how it goes. :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are being guided and listening to that guidance. I like the new blog. I too, have read The Artists Way but it has been awhile. Enjoy your journey.
